Applicants are invited to apply for the above mentioned Temp position based at Wadeville DC in the Northern Region . The position reports directly to the Branch Manager .
Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure the cost effective inventory of all goods
- Stock planning in conjunction with the Ops Manager and the Inventory Controller
- Participate and assist in inventory counts as prescribed in company policies and procedures
- Maintain the highest possible level of customer service
- Ensure that all customer complaints are solved swiftly and efficiently
- Manage stock movements and documentation in accordance with the ICC and Internal / External audit controls
- Ensure routine Quality Control inspections in the Distribution Centre
- Ensure Quality Control checks on receipt of stock and despatch of stock
- Ensure FEFO principle is applied to stick movements by printing bin pulling sheets for warehouse
- Adherence to stock age policy
- Assist in administering the execution of the product recall process at site level
- Understanding, implementation and adherence to Internal Control Measures such as ICC’s, ISO requirements and Operations Excellence
- Daily documentation control
- Route settlement corrections
- All routine administration
Key Requirements:
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office.
- SAP knowledge.
- Two years working experience in a similar FMCG environment
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime if necessary
- Matric certificate
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Willing to work shifts
