Job Descriptions

We are looking for a FinOps Support Administrator who will support the internal workings of the business. The focus of this role will be general business administration and coordinating day to day operations. The environment is multicultural and diverse and requires a people person; someone who can communicate well at various levels. The successful candidate will be required to proactively contribute to the growth and success of the company’s business operations.



Key responsibilities and/or output areas include, but are not limited to:

Practice Administration

  • Processing of all payment requisitions
  • General office management
  • Maintain data integrity – Data quality
  • System administration for Practice
  • Checking Timesheets weekly basis
  • Ops support within “other” Practice “billing”

Financial administration

  • Invoicing and billing
  • Vetting of contracts provided for projects
  • Calculating and monitoring project revenue
  • Assist with tasks relating to debtor’s management
  • Tracing and monitoring of practice expenses

Stakeholder management and communication



  • Liaising with and updating the Finance team on all revenue and invoicing through the Practice
  • Communicating with third parties, vendors and clients
  • Liaise closely across other Practices within IQbusiness to ensure optimization of people, client engagements and operations

Adhoc projects

  • Coordinate team events
  • Adhoc duties and projects as they arise
  • Facilitate all learning and development requests
  • Initiating Care packages

Requirements:

Education

  • Matric
  • Finance/Accounting diploma/degree

Experience and Skills

  • 3-5 Years plus experience in general and financial administration
  • Experience in billing, creditors and debtors, recons purchase orders and invoicing
  • Very detail orientated and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
  • Self-starter and out of the box thinker

  • Demonstrate understanding and application of MS Office applications: Ability to create slideshows, create formulas, pivot tables, create an address book and auto-responses
  • Have a basic understanding of people management and team dynamics
  • Encourage co-operation and communication amongst teams in the Practice
  • Support the team to remain focused under pressure
  • Strive to continuously improve own and Practice processes
  • Have an understanding of IQbusiness, the Practice offerings and how each IQ’er can contribute to the organization
  • Have the ability to develop Practice insights through data analysis and research in order to deliver a real value add
  • Be self-reliant and collaborates with others
