KZN Department Of Public Works Internships Programme Application Details 2021
Kwazulu-Natal Department of Public Works opened applications for an Internship in Administration that exists in the Department. Unemployed degree holders and diploma holders from Kwazulu-Natal are encouraged to apply to gain work experience.
The Department of Public Works in Kwazulu-Natal is making opportunities available to people who have received their qualifications and are seeking work experience in Pietermaritzburg. This position will see work being done in Administration within the Department.
This programme is for 24 months/two years.
If you are successful in your application, you will be required to enter into a contract with the Kwazulu-Natal Department of Public Works.
A monthly stipend will be paid.
Requirements
- A 3 or 4 year tertiary qualification in any of the following:
- Degree/National Diploma in Public Management (REF INT/PM/02/2020)
- Degree/National Diploma in Public Relations (REF INT/PR/02/2020)
- Degree/National Diploma in Office Management/Management Assistance (REF INT/OM/MA/02/2020)
- Degree/National Diploma in Financial Management/Supply Chain Management (REF INT/FM/SM/02/2020)
(Certified proof of the qualification the applicant has obtained needs to be provided)
- Must be unemployed
- Never served an internship previously. Applicants are requested to provide an affidavit in this respect, signed by a Commissioner of Oaths.
- Between 18 and 35 years of age
- South African citizen residing in Kwazulu-Natal
Preference will be given to people who are unemployed and people who have a disability.
