The Police are looking for Trainees who are young, fit and enthusiastic to make a difference to their country. The programme pays R4 500 per month while training and has streams for those who have passed Matric and those with a degree or diploma.

The South African Police Service is recruiting for entry level police trainees and invites applicants from all races and gender for Enlistment in the Basic Police Development Learning Programme (BPDLP), applicants that are young, energetic, intelligent, physically and mentally fit individuals, dedicated to serving their country by pursuing a career in policing.

Successful candidates will serve as functional police officials. As such, they will be deployed to carry out police functions.
HOW TO APPLY
There are two streams for the Trainee programme. The first stream is for applicants with a Matric and the second stream is for those who have completed a 3 year degree or diploma.
