In Mossel Bay, the support and encouragement of several courageous men led to the establishment of what is today known as the Mossel Bay Campus of South Cape College. This Campus delivers excellent service to our immediate area, the Klein Karoo and across the entire South Africa.
Tuition started in one classroom with post school technical training. It was the intention to allow students from previously disadvantaged groups to have access to training so that qualifications could be upgraded and skills be acquired.
Thanks to the generous support of Petro SA, which donated a well equipped computer centre, and a number of other firms that contributed towards the setting up of an electronics workshop, the Mossel Bay campus is currently the only TVET facility between Port Elizabeth and Cape Town offering technical programmes with e-learning facilities.
