The OVERBERG DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, with its Head Office in Bredasdorp and located in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, currently offers the following career opportunity to a suitable qualified person to commence duty as soon as possible.
All-inclusive remuneration package: R80 000.00 per annum negotiable An internship is currently available for one year in the Department Emergency Services for a candidate to gain practical experience in Local Government.
This project is an initiative of the Department Local Government:
Western Cape and is aimed at individuals who have recently obtained a relevant tertiary qualification as mentioned below.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Disaster Management
- Computer literacy in MS Office applications with practical experience
- Valid code B driver’s licence
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Applicants must be literate in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape
