Application Instructions. Please read the following carefully as it will guide you.
Closing Date: Be sure to find out what the closing date for submission and acceptance of applications for the university of interest is. This is crucial so you don’t apply late as it might cost you dearly.
Email Address: An email address that is different or professionally unique is needed for the admission process. Please note that for the sake of professionalism, it is better to have something from yahoo, Gmail or Hotmail. If you want to do that now, click here for the steps
Online or Offline/Postage: In the era of IT, most universities will offer you the opportunity to apply from your computer online, others will prefer you to apply with hardcopy. Please do some checks to find out exactly what the needs of your university is before you start.
Verified Copies of Results: Results from Grades 11 and 12 examinations that have been certified are crucial for you to gain admission. Most universities will require this as a prerequisite. It will be in your own interest to have it. If you have Grade 11 and are now sitting for 12 too, some universities will accept it.
Financial Aid: Sometimes, you may just be unfortunate to be one of the brilliant but needy ones. If you will need financial assistance, you have to fill a different form to apply for it, please go through your university’s site to ensure you have the appropriate form if it is a need.
Immediate Activity: You are metric! No problem, the university you desire will need your results and current activities, be sure to have it at hand before you begin.
Verified copies: When it is time to submit documents, be sure to have the following
- ID
- ID of your parents or guardian
- Your full examination results or score
- Receipt attesting that you have paid your application fee
- If you are resident, please attach a copy of your most recent payslip

Correct Information: Please beware that accurate information is very important. Make sure you are providing the correct information. If you are applying with a hard copy, it is advised that you first use a pencil, when you are done, have checked that everything is alright, you can then use a pen.
Payment of Fee: Most universities will require you pay an application fee, please do so and then attached the receipt of your haven paid. Keep the receipt safe.
Appending Signature to Declaration: Your parent and yourself will have to append your signature to the declaration, it is advised to carefully read through very well before you do so, a mistake would be suicidal.
Offer: An offer letter will be sent to you informing you of your offer. Please note that this is in a way conditional. You have to ensure that you have read through it, signed it and then submitted it. The initial payment that is required is also paid.
