Central Karoo District Municipality Internships Programme Application Details 2021
The MFMIP is a structured professional training and work experience programme with the goal of providing high quality training and practical exposure in all aspects of a Municipal Budget and Treasury Office which is governed by the MFMA, Act 56 of 2003 and the underlying reforms.
2-YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A three-year Degree or National Diploma with majors in Accounting, Economics, or Finance including either Risk Management and/or Auditing.
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
- Computer literacy and knowledge of Windows Spreadsheet applications.
- Financial accounting related work experience (a recommendation).
- A driver’s license will be an added advantage.
- The candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 35.
HOW TO APPLY
Closing Date: 17 July 2020
Salary: STIPEND : R100 000 per annum (total cost to company)
Applications on the official application form of the Council must be forwarded to the Municipal Manager to reach the office no later than Friday, 17 July 2020.
Applications not accompanied by certified copies of qualifications will not be considered.
Kindly note that the District Municipality does not notify applicants whose applications were unsuccessful. The District Municipality reserves the right not to make any appointment.
