Vaal Triangle Campus is a north west university campus with diverse population. The campus also boasts of a unique environmental setting, with various species of game roaming the campus grounds. The Campus has two faculties, namely the Faculty of Humanities with four schools and the Faculty of Economic Sciences and Information Technology with three schools

The North-West University is a newly merged institution from 1 January 2004 onwards with three campuses at Potchefstroom, Mahikeng and Vanderbijlpark, South Africa.
